UV print leaves the printing on the film and the mounting of the film on the substrate, i.e. the printing is done directly on the material. Printing can be carried out at high speeds maintaining all quality standards and environmental friendliness, while being virtually odourless. One of the distinctive features of this technology compared to conventional printers is its many innovative solutions, which allow printing directly on different materials. UV printing is a form of digital printing that uses ultraviolet or UV light to cure the ink. Newer generation printers use LED technology. The whole process, from the moment the ink is fed into the printer to the moment it dries on the substrate, is carefully controlled by the printer. The range of materials on which UV printing can be applied is virtually unlimited. It can be applied to acrylic, PVC, KAPA, metal, wood, glass, etc. The size of the material we can print on with this printer can be 3100x2100x50mm. These dimensions give us a good opportunity to print directly on large substrates which until now seemed impossible. If a material happens to be capricious to ink, the substrate is treated with a special primer. The printer works with the most classic CMYK ink solution, with white ink and UV varnish as an option. This option ensures a brilliant finish even on special coloured substrates. The quality we can offer depends largely on the specific job file and the desired final solution. At higher speeds, a resolution of 300×450 dpi already gives a very good result, but for a very demanding end result, the printer is capable of printing at 1200×1200 dpi – at the expense of speed, but still with superb quality. The areas and solutions where UV printing can be used are very wide. The main applications are still in the advertising industry, but increasingly UV-print is being used in interior design, for example. Be it wall panels, doors, glass kitchen backsplashes etc. In other words, if you have a substrate on which you need to apply a high quality message in the form of a print or a photograph, UV printing is the right solution. If it all seems unbelievable, be brave and ask.
